Legal Notice & Terms

Last updated: 20 May 2026

1. Legal notice (Aviso Legal)

In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on services of the information society and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), the following information is provided about the entity that operates this website:

  • Operator: Richard Lagrand, sole trader (autónomo) trading as Costa Stay.
  • Tax ID (NIE): X2057755Z.
  • Registered address: Calle Peña del Aguila 6, 11520 Rota, Cádiz, Spain.
  • Contact: hello@costastay.homes.

2. What this website is

costastay.homes is a marketing website that presents long-stay rental apartments and houses on the Costa de la Luz. The site is not an online booking platform: no payments are processed here and no rental contract is concluded by clicking a button. Sending an enquiry through this site starts a personal conversation; any rental agreement is formalised separately in a written contract between you and the property owner, with Costa Stay acting as intermediary.

3. Acceptable use

By using this site you agree to use it lawfully, not to attempt to disrupt it or access areas you have no right to, and not to submit false information through our forms. We may refuse service or remove content that we consider abusive, fraudulent or unlawful.

4. Intellectual property

All texts, photographs, logos and graphic design on this site are protected by intellectual property law. Property photographs are used with the permission of the owners. You may not reproduce, distribute or publicly communicate the content without our prior written consent, except for normal private browsing.

5. Enquiries and rental terms

Prices, availability and property descriptions are indicative and may change without notice. We do our best to keep them accurate, but the legally binding terms of any rental are those set out in the signed rental contract for that specific stay. Spanish rental law applies to the contract; the exact regime depends on the duration and purpose of the stay and is explained to you before you sign.

6. Limitation of liability

We provide this site on an "as is" basis. We do our best to keep it accurate, available and free of errors, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the information is always up to date. To the extent permitted by law, Costa Stay is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this site, nor for the content of external sites we link to.

7. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising from the use of this site are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Cádiz, Spain, unless a different jurisdiction is mandatory under consumer protection law for the user concerned.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change.
